Four Million Dollar Typo Costs NFL G.M. His Job
Thursday, January 12, 2012
The Jacksonville Jaguars GM has learned the hard way that typos in legal documents matter. A clause in the contracts of some Jaguars assistant coaches that was supposed to state that the coaches' contracts expired at the end of the 2011 season (this season) instead stated that the coaches' contracts would expire at the end of the 2012 season (next season). The mistake will apparently cost the team about $4 million. For more on the typo click here.
